About Me
I am a part-time nurse, full-time mom who became interested in photography after getting frustrated paying high prices at in-store photography studios and not getting the shots I really wanted because I was rushed. I wanted photos I could proudly hang on the wall, that captured my child the way I remember her!
I'm mostly self-taught and am still working to improve my photography with every shoot. I LOVE taking pictures of babies and children. I recently opened a small studio in my home and can't wait to get more use out of it.
I have one sweet toddler at home and another on the way so although I'm busy, I'd love to capture the milestones of your sweet little one!

Availability
As a working mom, I understand how difficult it can be to set up appointments. I am happy to schedule a shoot around your availability, simply send me an email with possible dates and times and we can go from there!
{Studio} I shoot from a small studio located in my home. I prefer to shoot at 10am weekday mornings, but am more than willing to work with you to get the day and time you need!
{Outdoors} I typically shoot at 9:00am or 5:30pm because this is when natural lighting is the best. If neither of these times works for you, we may be able to schedule something else although the location of your shoot may have to be altered.

{Session Pricing}
Newborn: $100 sitting fee for a 1-2 hour session. These sessions cost more and last longer because newborns are much more difficult to work with and require a lot of TLC.
Babies/Children (3 Months and up): $50 sitting fee for 1 child. Please add $15 per additional child.
Maternity: $50 sitting fee for either outdoors or studio. Take $20 off if booked with the newborn package.
{CD Pricing}
$25: CD of your pictures in color, b/w and sepia with copyright release.
{A La Carte Prints*}
4 Wallets: $1.50
4x6: $2.50
5x7: $5
8x8: $10
8x10: $8
8x12: $8
12x12: $15
11x14: $20
12x18: $25
16x20: $35
*All prints are available in lustre or glossy

Session Information
The following are some guidelines for your next shoot. Your online preview and CD of pictures will be available approximately 2 weeks after your shoot. You can either pick them up, or have them mailed to your house. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email me!
{Newborns}: I prefer to photograph newborns during the first two weeks of life. They are more sleepy during this time frame which makes the best pictures! I also encourage parents who attend newborn photo sessions to wear black long-sleeved shirts. As a mom, I understand that newborns have to eat and sleep more often than usual so don't worry if you have to feed the baby or spend a few moments snuggling during your shoot!
{Maternity}: Maternity shots are usually the best when taken between around 34 weeks of pregnancy. These are available both in studio or outdoors, whichever you prefer. If shooting in studio, please bring a black long-sleeved shirt to your shoot as well as any other outfits or props you desire!
{Children}: Whether you are going for classic soft colors, or fun bright prints, make your childrens clothing reflective of the type of shoot you are looking for. Feel free to bring any props, blankets, favorite toys, hats etc. to the shoot! I've found that having these things usually make for the best pictures.
***Please do not bring sick babies or children to a session. It isn't fair to me or the child as they will not photograph well while they are ill. If your child is sick on the day of your shoot, I will happily reschedule with you for another illness-free time!
